blue door productions presents THE BEST OF THE BEST SKETCH FEST PORTLAND'S FIRST NATIONAL SKETCH COMEDY FESTIVAL hosted by 94.7 NRK's daria o'neill FRIDAY & SATURDAY JULY 25th & 26th ARTISTS REPERTORY THEATRE (A.R.T.) 1516 SW ALDER ST. PORTLAND, OR 97205 TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR $7 PER SHOW $24 ONE NIGHT PASS $40 FESTIVAL PASS CALL BLUE DOOR PRODUCTIONS FOR MORE INFORMATION AT 503-258-1681 -------------------------------------- The idea for the festival is to collect the top 8 sketch comedy troupes we've encountered on our various national festival experiences and have them each come to Portland to perform a 45-minute set over the two days. The element that sets this festival apart from others is that it is invitation only. We are not accepting applications or having a jury decide which groups are good enough to be in the fest. We have invited only troupes that we know are great. We've seen each of them in person and consider them to be the finest on the festival circuit. This is, quite simply, the cream of the national crop. It's a chance for the sketch comics to try out experimental bits and perform with members from other troupes. It will also be a chance for upcoming local sketch troupes to perform in the festival. This bonus show will be free with a ticket stub to any of the festival performances. Without a stub, admission is only $3.
